Active Waterproofing (Pty) Ltd originally started out as Active Jointing in 2002 and was bought by the current owners in 2010. The company is divided into 6 specialised divisions and its experienced management and 85 employees allow it to take on the largest contracts within these disciplines: Waterproofing Design, Waterproofing Application, Fire Protection, Insulation, Floor Coverings, Jointing and Screeds.
Waterproofing Application
The company is an approved applicator for most brands of waterproofing materials available in the country and is a member of the Gauteng Waterproofing association and SA Waterproofing Federation.
Fire Protection
We install all types of Fire Stops including soft and hard pipe penetrations, steel work protection, cavities and cable protection.
Waterproof Design
Active Waterproofing (Pty) Ltd may be the only waterproofing applicator in South Africa whose designs are backed by Professional Indemnity Insurance. This service is offered for own installations to architects and developers.
Insulation and Floor Coverings
The company can supply and install all brands of insulation whether above or below ceilings and board or liquid application.
Expansion Jointing
Active Waterproofing (Pty) Ltd has more than
17 years of experience in expansion and movement joints in structures. The company can design and install everything from a 3mm movement joint to a 50mm expansion joint.
Screed Installations
Active Waterproofing is experienced in all types of screeds including light weight and insulating screeds. This service was introduced to compliment the waterproofing installations to reduce risk for our customers
